Petzl Pantin Ascender (Left)
The Petzl Pantin is a lightweight and flexible foot ascender that makes ascending a rope easier. It is used in conjunction with rope clamps such as the CROLL, ASCENSION or BASIC, and helps you maintain an upright position for more efficient and less strenuous climbing. Its clever design ensures the rope runs smoothly through the device, even during the first few metres of the ascent.
Efficient and smooth rope climbing
The Petzl Pantin has been developed to make ascending along a rope easier and more ergonomic. The compact design means the foot ascender can remain on the foot without getting in the way or risking snagging on the surroundings. The DOUBLEBACK buckle allows the fit to be adjusted quickly and easily. The rope is released smoothly by moving the foot backwards.
Durable construction for demanding conditions
The serrated stainless steel cam offers high corrosion resistance and is fitted with a self-cleaning groove that ensures reliable operation even with dirty or icy ropes. The straps are made from durable HMPE, which offers high resistance to abrasion. A separate locking device is available as an accessory to keep the rope in place during the ascent.
